I agree that the poll is flawed.. I stand behind the concept though. The SPG is what I had in mind specifically. Newbie AOW divers getting in over their head where a one on one DM could make it safer.

You bet it's a great question! I'd be interested in seeing some legit results (as legit as an anonymous poll could be, that is).

I'd suggest something like:

What would you pay over & above your usual trip & gear cost for a personal guide with DM credentials in an unfamiliar area or on a challenging dive?
