Hi there:
If I purchase a SWIV combo (depth and pressure only) 04.1840, then purchase separately the SWIV compass module, can I add the compass without any special boot or mounting bracket etc.?
Essentially, I want to make a SWIV combo into a Navcon 04.1845 by popping in a compass. Can this be done?

Thanks,

Hi
Definitely! All you need to do is to is to pry off the cover where the compass goes on the swiv combo to replace the compass. No special brackets, spacers or boots. The only thing you need to watch for is is the protruding ridge on the compass base needs to be lined up with the corresponding slotted area on the inside of the console. This keeps the entire module from rotating in the boot when you are using the bezel.
