Yeah, pretty obscene. I don't usually pay much attention to price. I gave one of these away to a crew member on a liveaboard on top of the tip. I was thinking, "what's another $20."
edit: and why are those black straps suppose to do on the cover?? how does it attach and doesnt that risk unlocking the housing latches by accident?
The straps attach it to the velcro strips you stick to the back of the dome. The Subal ports have bayonet mounts, so no latches.
