Can a mod please move this thread to someplace more appropriate.

I am not a mod, but I think I will explain the process for doing this. I see posts in which people ask mods to do something quite a bit.

Mods are volunteers who read posts on SB the same way any of you do. They look around for things that interest them. Maybe one of them started reading this thread, decided it wasn't all that interesting, and moved on. There is a good chance that no mod will see a post like this.

If you believe a thread has been started in the wrong forum (and that happens a lot), or if you decide you want to get a mod's attention for any similar reason, the thing to do is to click on the Report button on the left side of the post, under the person's name. There is a box for you to write the reason for the report. This action creates a new thread in a private forum created for that purpose. If the action required is really obvious, the first mod to see it will take care of it promptly. If the action required is not so obvious (sometimes no action is needed), the mods will discuss it in the thread and then decide what to do.

I will report this one myself, suggesting it be moved to the Florida Conch Divers forum, which has a whole lot of threads of this nature already. However, everyone should realize that they have the same power to do this as anyone else.

i think it is true, because i heard it from a dependable source! The waves where high that day 2-4 3-4 i dont know exactly what was going on all i know he got lost and how he got lost. I wasn't there! So i don't know any details!

I question your motivation for starting this thread. The only newsworthy aspect of a story like this would be a very long time period before locating the floating divers or if the owner's boat left the search area for an inappropriate reason which I highly, highly doubt. Reporting rumors and half facts in a public forum such as SB is totally unfair to any commercial operation in our beloved sport...

I have my suspicions about all of you so I have reported you en masse....especially you Brian.

Chug
Is laughing hysterically because he has many stories of some well known people in South Florida getting lost out there.

Like Speculation and Urban Legends? ;)

So far I have not seen anything on this thread that would confirm the story so you have to wonder

I heard that the Boss of Dixie divers in Deerfield Beach got Lost on his own Boat!
They could not find him and his buddy!

That must be a very large boat! (if they got lost ON it)

I still don't understand the post, so true or not I really don't care.

I guess I would expect that moderators might actually be proactively monitoring some threads. The A&I board seems like one that someone should be perusing every day or two without the need for too much reporting.

It,s accidents and Incidents! This is a Incident, and thanks god it ended in a happy end!
It seams that some poeple just like death and destruction?

What about talking about how to get boats more secure? Why did they left?
May someone in the forum were on the boat that day?

Some one get's lost, is a serious problem! I hope deepstops never get's lost!

Ok, since it is a slow night, how long were they alleged to have been lost? Who pulled them out of the water?
