Dixie Diver Florida

I heard that the Boss of Dixie divers in Deerfield Beach got Lost on his own Boat!
They could not find him and his buddy!
Police later found them and brought them safe back to shore!

The captain of the Lady Go Diver said. the flag got pulled under and waves between
2-4 foot made the search more difficult!
The boat left and they radioed the coast guards!

Thanks god, good end! But the embarrassment, charter boat looses the owner

I spoke with two other charter captains in Pompano this morning and if it happened, they aren't aware of it so it's doubtful that whatever (if anything) happened was a big deal.

2-4 foot waves isn't that bad. When I dived WPB/Boynton Beach reefs, we usually had 3-5 and 4-6 foot waves. We wouldn't go when it was 5-7 or worse. 2-4 foot waves is a reasonably easy dive.

i think it is true, because i heard it from a dependable source! The waves where high that day 2-4 3-4 i dont know exactly what was going on all i know he got lost and how he got lost. I wasn't there! So i don't know any details!

Could the title of the thread be any more vague? Were they spearfishing/Photo bugs hence hooking off the reel resulting in a submerged float?

Lastly, why on earth would the boat leave the area and not participate in the search?
