I just had back surgery in which a 10mm hernia was removed from the L4-L3. I asked my surgeon about diving he said it was okay, need rehab to restrengthen my back, stomach muscles and upper legs. I plan on boat diving only. can anyone be more specific on the make and model for a good bc to keep most of the weight on my upper back / shoulders
 
That's what slaves...er, I mean sons are for, schlepping your gear to and from the water for you. All you have to do is put the stuff on in the water. You'll learn that during certification.
