Diving while cruising?

My Wife and I have a cruise booked in September 2008 that will take us to Cozumel and PDC each for a day and I want to spend as much time underwater as possible. I think we will book a two tank drift dive while in Cozumel and are considering a two tank Cenote dive while in PDC.

I am looking for any information about dive operators in PDC that others want to recommend, and also any information about shore dive opportunities in Cozumel and/or PDC.

I love cruising, and will always do dives while I'm crusing. I did Cozumel and Belize in Sept 07 while on Royal Caribbean. You will probably find better information posting here ScubaBoard - Mexico although I'm guessing it has been discussed before so you can just use the advanced search feature to look for "PDC" or "Playa del Carmen" in the title of threads.

I used Sand Dollar Sports in Cozumel (Shop used by Royal Caribbean) and they were terrible. I have read great things about Blue XT in Cozumel.
