Take a look at Seiko Divers. Monsters, SKX007 and 009, Seiko 5 etc. Citizen also have a lot of affordable dive watches. Lots of bang for buck.

If you want a swiss automatic movement, take a look at Sinn, Helson, MKII.

Personally I dive with a Sinn U2 S.

Dear Emily Ballmer,

Have you visited the Leisure Pro website? The have 146 time pieces and they have them from about $33.00 to over $1000.00, most are lower then the high end and many are under $100.00. For the less expensive look at the Casio's, Freestyles. SKU: FSTSM Freestyle is shiny and reasonably priced. Just go to Leisurepro.com and either cut and paste this SKU into the search window or click watches on the menu and see them all.

Sincerely,

Leisure Proski

I thought that Sinn uses a proprietary German movement?

Nope. Sinn U1 uses ETA 2824-2 top grade, Sinn U2 uses ETA 2893-2 top grade movement.
But Sinn do have some superquartz movement, and they migth be german. But all the automatics are swiss movements.
