Diving UserBars and Signatures

Hello guys. I enjoy making graphic designs in my spare time including uerbars and photomanipulation. So if you would like a custom userbar (like the image in my signature) or if you would like me to youch up a cool dive photo, make it a lil deeper give i a lil shine and all that jazz, maybe add some text, then post it here or give me a pm.

You may want to consider generic bars. There are several agencies with similar certs.

Isn't the PADI logo (text) copyrighted?

I highly doubt it, if you run the PADI logo text thru "WhattheFont", you can purchase the font they used for $24.99 (WhatTheFont: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont) Font name is "Stop"



I would imagine the Globe image with the red diver in it holding the torch is probably copywrited.

Regardless neither of us used the same font or the picture

Sorry, should have been more clear, I didn't mean your version. MJordans looks very close to the PADI original. My Husband is a PADI instructor and we can't use the PADI logo, from PADI's downloads, on our website (becuase my Husband is an instructor with various agencies) - got a legal notice from PADI......the font is available, but writing the name with that font and using it would be something they might not like.

Personally, I'm not going to pay $25 for a FONT anyway..

Heck, I don't even mind taking PADI out of mine (was thinking about doing that anyway).

Regardless I think PADI would have a hard time proving some kind of copywrite infringement about a Userbar on Scubaboard (where it's giving them FREE advertising), written in a different font that doesn't look the same.

FWIW, it would have been free advertising for them on our site too.
