I just called up my diving club in Beverly, (The Dive Society) to find out the chances of diving tomorrow. The person who answered the phone says that the chances of diving are pretty good. Last week they dove at back beach and the visibility was 30 ft.

The dive society is based out of undersea divers in Beverly,Mass.

Are you folks diving DRY? Was on the south shore (cape cod bay) in a wetsuit yesterday and it got a bit nippy. Could really only do one dive since the air was a bit chilly as well. Surface temp was 53 and at 20 feet is was 50. Did get about an hour in the water though.

Sandwich Town Beach (11/11/04) directly out from the restrooms (which were locked, grrrrrrr) Not a lot out there this time of year, I guess. Except Tunicates. Did see a few lobsters but nothing keeper sized. I am assuming that the bugs are heading out to deeper waters (if there are any off STB?) for warmth. I was hoiping to spot a few flounders but I guess they have moved on as well. And thr stripers are gone too. So if was a nice dive just for dive sake...

I hope that I can get one more dive in this weekend. Diving wet with 7mil farmer john...14 mil over the core.
