Hi,

I'm looking for dive buddys this weekend, either sat or sun, or both.

Anyone going in ME/NH or cape app area and wouldn't mind me coming along?

Chris

We have a group getting in the water at 10:00 AM at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth on Saturday 1/27. The more the merrier.

Ok!

I'll be there, ready for the water 10.

Chris

Some of us are bringing 2 cylinders for a possible second dive.

I'm also considering dving Sunday but I don't know if I have any constraints yet. Thinking of the Kennebunks.

Did the Nubble thing Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking and only 3 other divers in the water. Got wet about 12:30PM. Viz was good, 20+ feet. Mild current and no surf to speak of. No sea life to speak of either. Didn’t really see much of anything. But the good viz made for a nice dive. Maxed out at 71-fsw and 41 degrees F.

6 of us including cecilb63 had a pair of nice dives at 2 Lights in Cape Elizabeth. Actually for dive 2 it was myself cecilb63 and another diver. Vis was 15-20 by my guess nothing spectacular but enough for us to take space and keep each other in sight. Saw a few lobsters, crabs and the like. We had one wet diver and after her 42 minute dive just had chilly fingers. By the end of dive 2 it was T-shirt weather, seas were flat as far as we could see, simply great. Water was 40F+/-1.

I met 2 new divers including cecilb63 so that's a great day in my book.

For a January dive it was beyond my wildest dreams. I was thinking of diving somewhere tomorrow but I'm going to just savor today for a week and hope for the best next weekend!

Nice meeting you Cecilb63 !
