So, who's diving this weekend?

Mark and I are contemplating diving on Sunday, probably MacAbee.

Glad you posted todays condition, I can record it in my log book. How it translated at Pt. Lobos was that it was quite calm. Vis was roughly 30' and bluish (granite point and Canary Point), temp 48-49 degrees. Back to the question. I am not diving tomorrow although I wish I could.

Glad to hear how it was Mobeeno and I am glad that I could have been of assistance! :)

No diving but I'm doing essentials this weekend

Hey Hinalo,

I thought I read you were diving the channel islands a few months back. Do you do the channel islands liveaboards much? I just had great time on Conception and plan to go back soon...

Randy, good luck with Essentials. I hope you get a lot out of it.
do you know who the instructor is yet?

Please give a full report on how it goes. :)

:zen:

I was gonna take the essentials class.... But I had my armed twisted and ended up taking the PADI Tec DEEP class then I will work on the DIR-F class and see if I can get a TEC PASS for that...

Keep me informed how the essentials class goes... I always look forward to taking every class I can...

Launch at the Breakwater with Capt. Carol on Sat.
Pt. Lobos on Sun. with Jim Mosher on my boat.

The forecast has, however, degraded a bit:
.TODAY...NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 3 FT.
W SWELL 6 TO 7 FT AT 13 SECONDS.
.TONIGHT...NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT.
W SWELL 7 TO 8 FT AT 13 SECONDS.
.SUN...NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 3 FT. W SWELL 7 TO 8
FT AT 12 SECONDS.
Still diveable.

re essential's: it's with Les Winkinson. He runs ADT Scuba our of Pittsburgh. I meant I'm starting essentials. I have a lot of pool time before the check dives.

Sarita, A three-day weekend liveaboard SB NOCAL invade is a great idea! You keep coming up with them...

I'm heading to Hawaii in a few weeks, so it looks like Monterey will have to wait until April, unless I suddenly get the urge to play hooky on a weekday...

Sorry for the hijack...
