I dunno... maybe it is poling/poling. Actually, I'd prefer that.

I must have been confused by an earlier discussion about what we wanted to request.

In any case, I didn't know y'all were going. Glad to hear it.

MSilvia:
I'm doing two pond dives tomorrow, followed by a Poling/SNL on sunday. Those should cover the required dives for the Adv. Nitrox part of my class, then it'll just be a couple on the U853 and Bass to finish out the rec. trimix. :D

Man am I jealous....talk about some great dives that you have ahead of you...espicailly the subs.

It would be great if one of you guys could post a quick dive report of your Poling dives if you get a chance (bottom temp esp.).

Also, Matt have you posted anywhere (here or the other board) about your experinces with the rec trimix? I'd love to hear how you are finding that stuff.

Not yet, as my experience with it to date has been strictly academic. I neglected to mention the dives we plan to do on Crane Wreck... those will be for the trimix portion of the class as well. I'll keep you posted.

Cool, sounds like you are in for some great diving. If I survive our dir-f class, I'm going to be shopping for an adv. NITROX/Deco procedures instructor for late summer. I'd like to have someone good that I could learn TRIMIX from in the coming year(s), so I'll be sure to get some feedback from you on how you like your course.

The crane wreck is a "Heather and Dave" wreck in like 130' right?

I have no idea if it's a Heather & Dave wreck or not. I think it's in 140' or so. As I understand it, it's a crane that fell off the barge that was transporting it.
