Steve Weaver just got back from diving in the South Pacific and wrote this interesting story about diving the SS Coolidge in Vanuatu!

I am here in Santo now and spent all last week diving the Coolidge and Tutuba point!! I LOVED it. Was moved to tears on my last dive it was soo good. I highly recommend Santo Island Dive with Mal Davies, they are an SSI shop. I found out from other divers that one of the very popular dive shops is claiming to be a PADI shop and they are not. I also witnessed groups of 6-8 folks being led from the shore with one dive master. Not a scenario I would be comfortable with and I consider myself a capable diver.

I am quite sure that most of the DM's leading dives know what they are doing as there haven't been any deaths on the Coolidge, but I was very impressed with the Santo dive operation. Plus, they are the only dive op that goes to Tutuba point. Alfred (Lasa) and TJ (Tula) were fantastic and made each dive better than the last!

I wish I had more time here...I honestly don't think one could dive everyday on the Coolidge and see everything there is to see! AMAZING!
