I am planning a return trip to Thailand this October and plan on staying in Phuket once more. Last year I dove the Similians on a 6 day Liveaboard the first week of Nov and loved it! Unfortunately this time around I will not have as much time for diving & was hoping to find a 2 or 3 day liveaboard. At the moment my schedule is fairly open and was planning on scheduling around whatever dive plans I do make. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good operator for Oct? I don't need to be pampered too much I'm used to California (boat/shore) diving. Just looking for something reasonable with as few divers as possible.

We work with Dive Asia for few years. Never had problem sending customers to them and always got good feedback. Check www.diveasia.com
Thanks! I took a look at there website and the schedule is only through next month so I have sent them an email to see if they have a schedule for Oct.

Hin Daeng in October may not be the best choice, I would prefer to go to the Similans. Short trips will already be possible in October, e.g. on the Genesis I.
Yes, I understand that the Similans would be the best diving this time of year as well. Where can I get information on the Genisis I? I tried your website but couldn't locate any info.
