It's been a couple years since I dove Tahoe so we ar headed up in a week to give it a go. Plan is Meeks Bay for a couple dives Satureday and again on Sunday. Any place close for Air Fills? Last I knew you had to go to Reno or Carson City, any change from that?

I believe the only scuba shop was in South Lake Tahoe and that closed, but perhaps I error in my recollection. You're better off getting your tanks filled locally or in Sacramento, which is probably the last place you can get an air fill before going to Tahoe. Dolphin Scuba and Scuba World Sacramento are both on your way.

Fdog is probably the best person to ask, as he dives in that region regularly.

I'm trying to decide how many tanks to take up with me. If I can't get Air fills close by then I guess I'm carrying up extra tanks.

I live in Carson, and dive Tahoe all the time.
Avoid the shop in Carson City, short fills, atrocious service, and the ower is an ass
I taught an enriched air class for him and he refused to let the students dive EANX
FDog at Adventure Scuba, or Keith at Sierra Dive Center are worth the extra drive
Both are professional, knowledgeable, and will take excellent care of you

or PM me, I am always looking for an excuse to dive Tahoe :D
