I am looking for dive boat around the Cronulla or Sydney area. I have two opportunities to dive only, on Dec 24, 2004 - morning and December 28 in the evening. I would prefer two dives each time.
Water temps, would a 3 mm suit be enough?

I appreciate all help and suggestions

Thanks,

Howard

I dove yesterday at Baron's Hut (20 nm south of the entrance to Sydney Harbour). At 25m depth, the temperature was 16C. I was wearing a full 5mm wetsuit with a 5mm hooded vest and 5mm boots and gloves. It wasn't cold, but I wouldn't call it warm either. My guess is that you'll freeze your knackers off if you're only wearing a 3mm suit. Do yourself a favour and get something warmer.
