Randolphscott, out of curiousity, is the kelp forest making a comeback? I'm going to be on a Beach Hopper 2 charter which was "supposed" to go to Point Lobos, but I guess something complicated happen, now it is just a boat charter.

Yes, the kelp is quite cyclical. It grows best when the waves are down and the sun is out (summer), gets ripped out by the winter storms. It's back by about Apriil, thickest
in Aug.
