My wife and I decided to take a cruise this December and we will be making a stop in Roatan on December 16. We are wanting to get a couple dives in and we are looking for a dive operator that could accommodate us. I am a active divemaster, and she just finished her open water training and has never done an ocean dive. I would like to take her on a couple shallow easy dives with a patient dive operator. We arrive at 8am and leave at 6:00pm so we need someone willing to leave a little later than normal and would be able to pick us up and drop us off at the terminal. We have all our equipment and will only need weights and tanks. Please let me know if you have a recommendation.

Thanks!

Chad

Chad- this is one of the most often asked questions here on SB for the Bay Islands Forum.

Do a quick :search: and you'll learn about the various dive-ops, the general diving, the Shark Dive (not recommended for your new diver buddy), and the Dolphin Dive.

Good choice to dive on Roatan, it's very different than any other Caribbean island, and the diving there beats the shore-side activities hands down.

We'd be happy to take you diving on your stop in Roatan. Roatan is great for easy dives with most sites starting at 15-30ft. Check out our website and email me if you like the look of what you see.

Chad, I suggest you read the post up there ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
I have little info on dive opps as I mostly get fills and do my own thing but I highly reccomend Native sons to those that rent my home or visit other places that are not dive AI's. They are a nice operation run by an Islander and his wife Mish who seem to always provide great service with clean well kept boats.
