I highly highly recommend going to the previous mentioned Hyde and the Markham. I have dove those wrecks a couple times and I have had a great experience every time. Look at the videos on youtube. The wrecks are a sand tiger breading ground so you get to see lots of sharks during the summer. Lots of other fish as well and usually pretty good viz. The wrecks themselves are lots of fun as you can travel in them and explore. There are two dive shops in Wilmington, NC and I am pretty sure both do charters to the wrecks. You will not be disappointed if you go.
