Diving near Kobe May 10-22

Hi,

I will be visiting Japan for a conference in May, and I am fairly restricted with time, thus the obvious option of diving Okinawa is not viable for me. Is there any options to dive near Kobe or Tokyo?

You have many options close to Kobe (besides Suma beach in Kobe which is not so good). Shikoku is great for diving, Japanese Sea is only 1.5 h away, Shirahama in Wakayama is also great. I live in Kobe and dive all these places but I am away to Korea and Scandinavia those days.

Let me know when the time comes, if my gear is in and together by then I will be willing to go to Izu or any where close. I am stationed in Yokosuka, so just let me know.
