Or go to your local bookstore like a Barnes and Nobles and you can sit down and read all the scuba mags. they have for free, if you want a cheap alternative. At least to try them out to see what you like.

Also the free Dive Training mag. at your LDS is not bad...

I like Wreck Diving magazine quite well.

Don't know were you're from, I couldn't find it in your profile but Northwest Diver is OK if you are close to Washington. I like dive training especially the price.

I agree Dive Training is a good one. I also get Sport Diver and Scuba Diving.

Thanks for the info. A friend of mine dropped off a stack of Rodalles Scuba Diving magazines from last few years. Sounds like from the opinions here that is a pretty good one. I will take a look for Dive Training mag but what is a LDS?

What is a LDS? It's a key word for pot stirring around here!

It stands for local dive shop.

Welcome to Scubaboard and diving, by the way.

What is a LDS?
It stands for local dive shop.

See... all the time I woulda thunk LDS was those knock-knock guys.

Local Dive Shop.... kinda' like the internet only with compressed air and comraderie. :coffee: ... and Dive Training Magazine. That other magazine is pretty good, down at my LDS they use a mess of them to hold up the broken leg on the couch. Yep.
