Any body diving Lake Jocassee this weekend? Looks like the lake level is up. This is the best time of the year to go.

My buddy and I are working up dive plans to do the lodge after we get our certs taken care of. What is this fried chicken you speak of??![]()
I checked out your site the other day. Very neat. We have not met yet but I would love to hear more about the lodge and the diving that has been done there so far. How many people have been on it so far? I never had a chance to meet Jackie but I dive on "Jackie's Boat" at my local quarry all the time and I've met a few of his dive buddies. That whole crew of guys have had some impressive feats to thier credit.
Like I said, we'll be out there all weekend so maybe we will have a chance to meet. If not, PM me your contact details and I will let you know once we get our plans together. I'll have to ask Bill about the chicken. That sounds lovely, although the dangling deco chicken is pretty cruel.
I'm sure Bill will let me know when y'all are planning to dive the lodge. When do you expect to dive the lodge? It's a closed site: only Bill and I have the GPS coordinates to get to it. Plus, we don't want some idiots thinking they can do a bounce dive on it and live to tell about it. The divers so far have been Jackie Smith and Charles Johnson (the first two to dive her - and my heroes), Garrett VanDreel, Adam Miller, Greg Kefleck (sorry - spelling is bad on that one), Sue Street, Bill Routh, and Tom Sawicki. I guess by local quarry you mean LNQ? I've dived there with Charles - he wanted to show me the memorial area for Jackie. I plan to join it next year. My dive buddy and I have not been successful in getting together to dive this year, so I need to expand my options and buddies.
