I want to plan a trip on the Aggressor to Utila, but am concerned about the amount of damage (if any) the recent hurricanes have done both to the island and to the reefs etc. Hoping to go next March. Anyone have any info?

Thanx.

I'm trying to find out also. Was planning to go this week for my PADI by now not sure. Even if things are back to normal now, will the diving still be the same?

Hi,

Steve is 110% correct, the only damage to Utila during the recent storms in the Caribbean was to damage one the waterside bars, which was in need of a refit anyway.

I was out diving this morning and had an awesome time, the reefs here are in amazing shape.

As far as weather conditions go right now you couldn't pick a better time to visit Utila.

Hi Andy

Your post was sent in at 3.19 pm .......get back to work ....anyone would think you live on a Caribbean Island and teach diving for a living.......LOL

Hi Steve,

2214, no rest for the wicked!!!!

Hope you can make it up to UDC on Thursday night, we got Scott coming in to cook curry for the IE party, can't think of anything better to go down in the Caribbean atmosphere, a cold beer and good curry with celebrating Instructors (70% female!!!!!).

Life is good eh?

Regards,
Andy
