Sorry to hear that. Hope the rest of the trip was great and that you're feeling better.
Thanks. Overall, the trip was one of the best vacations I’ve taken. Snorkeled and hit a lot of beaches with the wife. The diving, hopefully, will sort itself out. When you’re in St. Thomas, I would suggest stopping at Brewer’s beach, by the airport, on the university property. Nice beach. Plentiful marine life just off shore.

I'm going next January staying close to Red Hook (Sapphire Beach) - have already researched a few dive ops and sites, even though it's a ways off. As of now, it's my next chance to dive - unless I fall into Table Rock Lake in Branson in October 😁
Don't overlook the snorkeling right off Sapphire Beach. Turtles munching the eel grass, squadrons of squid against the rocks and the occasional reef shark wandering by. When I lived there my daily entertainment was to walk the docks when the charters came in. They (the charters) would let the kids feed the tarpon their fish scraps. What a hoot! Had a resident nurse shark in the marina eating the scraps as well.
