I am going to be in St Thomas August 20-30, 2025. I am staying at the Limetree Resort and will have a vehicle. It’s located in Frenchman’s Bay. Seeking advice on a good dive shop and sites to dive. I have OW.

Aug 30-30 is a very short stay. I don’t think you will have time to a get a dive in.

Was there last June and we stayed at the Secret Harbor.
I dove with Aqua action for 10 dives during the week and enjoyed it.
Chose them because we were staying right next to their shop.
It was super stress free diving with short boat rides to the sites in smaller fast boats.
The DMs and captains were all great.
They have my recommendation

It's about a 20 minute drive from your hotel to Redhook dive center on the east side of the island, worth the distance as they are a really good outfit.

Thanks for the info. Appreciated.

Just wondering how your trip and the diving went? Who did you dive with?

I'm going next January staying close to Red Hook (Sapphire Beach) - have already researched a few dive ops and sites, even though it's a ways off. As of now, it's my next chance to dive - unless I fall into Table Rock Lake in Branson in October 😁

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to dive. I developed a respiratory issue that I am hoping be resolved soon. I did rent gear from Red Hook Dive Center in an attempt to see if I could, but I couldn't The person I dealt with seemed friendly and knowledgeable.

Sorry to hear that. Hope the rest of the trip was great and that you're feeling better.
