Thanks, i have herd a little about jacksonville diving but I have not had the chance to go out there and check it out.I am about 15 min. away from marineland.

www.atlanticprodivers.com www.scubanews.com I do maybe 50 dives a year outta St. Augustine.Vis is normally 20' or so inshore and 30' to 100' offshore depending on sea conditions.Swells suspend a bit of silt and can get it snotty.Thermocline should be arriving in about 6-10 weeks and will cut down on vis and drop the bottom temps for a few weeks to a coupla months. There are about 30 artificial reefs offshore starting 4 miles out buy mostly 20 or so.

I don't know of any charters that run out of St. Augustine. Jax has several and this month's issue(free) of ScubaNews has a rundown of dive-boats Florida-wide.
