I'm a Fish!
Hello!

I'm trying to find out as much information as I can about diving in the southern USA states -particularly Arizona, Alabama and New Mexico.

Can anyone please help -where are the best places to dive? what are conditions like?

I know there are some beautiful lakes there but I'm struggling to find out much about them! Please help!

Alabama you have basically three types of diving.

1.) local rivers/lakes
2.) Local quarries, operated as "dive parks"
3.) The Alabama Gulf Coast.

just about every site in Alabama has been covered in "Deep Dixie Divers" in a past thread.

The lakes/rivers offer lower vis, but have fewer divers and a huge area to dive over. conditions will be different at every location.

Might help if you give a little more info on what you want... or what you're trying to do.
