Hello, I will be mioving to Southern Maryland in November and I was wondering if someone can give me recommendations on diving in that area.

THanks:)

In St Mary's County, you'll be within reach of Chesapeake Bay, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Virginia Beach diving. The former consists of some fascinating wreck diving and oyster diving at the expense of poor visibility. To enjoy the wreck diving, you'll have to make contact with locals. The latter two areas are open ocean wreck diving, usually not too deep (<130 feet) with quite variable visibility and temperatures.

I belong to an active dive club, www.atlantisrangers.org, but it meets in College Park, MD, a bit of a trip from St. Mary's.
