Diving in SoCal on April 19

Hello everyone!

I'll be visiting Long Beach for a conference the Week of April 19, and I'd love to spend the day diving on Sunday of that week.

I thought about diving at Catalina Island, though I'm open to other suggestions. I am OW certified, but it's been over a year since my last dive so I'll definitely need a refresher. I thought a guided dive would most likely be best. I noticed two shops on Catalina -- Scuba Luv and Catalina Diver's Supply. Any recommendations on which I should contact? Or should I look elsewhere entirely?

Any of those places will do you just fine. They have very capable dive masters who will guide you around either Casino Point dive park or on one of their day boats.

Or maybe one of the SoCal members would take you along. I'd volunteer to be your guide but I'm going out of town on that Sunday 19 April 09.
