Well I want to thank-you all for your tips and advice. Unfortunately I am back in Columbus Ohio already. I must tell you all I love your city and would move there in a heartbeat. For those of you who have never visited Columbus, imagine a city half the population with twice the violent crime. Then imagine summers in the 90's with 90% humidity and no ocean, even nights stay the same. As for the rest of the year we've actually hit the low 70's and had snow, sleet, hail, or all by nightfall. Now as for my dives, the Coronados Trip was cancelled and instead we dove a 3 tank dive, The Yukon, The Ruby E., and the Kelp Forest. After some weighting issues we did make the deck of the Yukon visibility was 6-8 feet maybe, seemed like a lot of strong current as well. The Ruby E. was the same, and the Kelp was about 10 feet. Not being familiar with any of the sites we didn't see much and would like to return for further exploration hopefully the visibility is better than what we had. So are these the average conditions to expect or less than average? By the way if anyone finds a brand new spare air lying on the ocean floor around the Yukon, I'll make you a heck of a deal on the useless free holster it came with and the fill adapter. Thanks,

Joe

Glad to hear that you got to dive. Bummer on the conditions. They've been like that lately. It's more of a seasonal thing as well, spring plankton blooms and all.

On;y done the Yukon once, and we had 40 foot viz, and kelp forests up here (LA) can be in the 60 foot rnge on a great day, usually 30 or so is good, so it can be a lot better.

Bummer also to hear of the lost gear

Chris
