Diving in Oman?

Hi all,

We are planning to go in the beginning of June to Oman for some diving, we have done Musanadam already a couple of times, so now we were thinking of Muscat, can any of you suggest a good diving center (I found info about Oman Diving Center and Global Scuba Diving Center)? And is there any diving further down in Oman (not Muscat)?

Go to this hotel in Oman and book a trip out to Daymaniyat Islands. That's the place to be! You need to call now though because this is starting to be the busy season. Also, the dive shop needs to get you and whoever else a governmental permit to go to those Islands. They are a sanctuary. Enjoy!

There is also lots of diving around the shoreline accessible by boat in Oman. I used Oman Diver Center and they were pretty good. They are pretty far from Al Sawadi Beach Hotel so I would suggest staying closer to Oman Dive Center. If you're going with your husband or boyfriend, Oman Dive Center have these very romantic huts that you can rent right there on the beach next to the dive shop. It's very convenient and you can shore dive whenever you want. http://www.diveoman.com.om/

Thanks for the advice Richard, we will try out the Daymaniyat Islands in August for sure!
I just right now booked our diving holday in Kas-Turkey for the fist week of June.
