Diving in Mexico - a project

Hola,
We are moving to Mexico City in July and as part of a class, I have to do a project on Mexican “culture”- I am fudging it a little and doing it on scubadiving! I plan on roughly breaking it down like this:

Yucatan
Cozumel
Holbox
Mayan Riveria
Xcalak
Chinchorro Banks
Cenotes

Gulf of Mexico
Veracruz
Where else??????

Baja California/Sea of Cortez
Cabo San Lucas
San Carlos
La Paz
Revillagigedo Islands

Pacific Coast
Puerto Vallarta Area
Ixtapa Area
Huatulco Area

If anyone has any other suggestions/recommendations and/or websites or reference material, feel free to pass it on!

For Huatulco, go to www.hurricanedivers.com. Over 100 dive sites over an area of 30km/18mls and lots of aquatic life. Very tranquil and "untouched".

Thanks all- Below I’ve edited my original list based on feedback

On some maps – on the gulf, between Tampico and Veracruz – I can find great “sounding” diving destinations – places like Arrecife (reef) Blanquilla, Arrecife Tanguijo, Arrecife Tuxpan, Isla de Lobos – but I am not finding much diving specific information. If anyone has information on these places or other places I missed, let me know. Thanks again!
