Hey! I was wondering how rough the seas can be for diving off of the Big Island in December. I have a free plane ticket that I would like to use. Any suggestions?

Generally it's not bad in December. We can get an occasional winter swell then, usually more towards the end of the month. The last couple of years we've been seeing about 81 degree water temps at the start of the month and dropping 4 degrees or so by month's end.
