hey guys

this june we are heading over the the caymans...i was wondering what type of suit do you guys recommend. i dive in california and i usually wear a 7mm...but a lot of people say i can get away with just shorts. i was thinking it might still be cold and a 3mm should do...what do you guys think?

shorts? 3mm long or a shorty?

thanks

As far as temperature goes a shorty or nothing at all should be fine. The temperature should be around 83f in early June rising to 84f by the end of the month.
You may want to invest in a skin or bring your full suit in case we still have any thimble jellies in the water then, sometimes they hang around into June.

If you tend to get cold, use a 3mm. I wear a 1mm or a polartec and can do 3 dives a day without getting chilled. YMMV.
