Has anyone tried diving in the Bicol region? I'm a bicolano (oragon ini:D ) and would love to know about the good dive sites, resorts etc. in the province. If you could give me contact numbers, I would appreciate it.

TIA!

Ang alam ko lang sa Bicol eh gata at laing. Ano pa ba....

umm.. mga babaeng may mga mala-mayon volcano na.... ehem... OT na..

anyway.. back to the topic hehe

also try out catanduanes. The locals told me the snorkeling is better there than san mig (although san mig looked beautiful! you see it when taking the ferry over to Virac). But I know of no dive operation there but the southern parts are very well established.

I went to puraran beach. That's a place where you really feel alone and at peace in the world. I was sipping on some san mig on the beach during the evening there was a night dive going on, so I know it is possible to scuba. But i didn't see any dive ops. scuba or not, I can't wait to go back.

Bicol is a beautiful place.

clgsamson:
Dive site - San Miguel Sanctuary in near Legaspi City.
Any place named San Mig can't be bad at all. :14:

The Manta Bowl, thats in Ticao. A good high voltage dive.
