Has anybody dived in Austria? I will be going there in september and it would be fun to dive there. Any recommendations would be great from people that has dived there.

Austria is a very wide country, East to West.

Years ago, I dove in the Zillertal Valley, and also near Badgastein. We went just North and dove in the Konigsee. Brutal cold and clear.

Diving looked much more inviting closer to Vienna.

It is still, inland lakes diving, much of it at altitude. Why not take advantage of the very inexpensive charter airfares and European packages offered and do Sharm or Maldives?
