:cool2:hey guys. now don't get mad at me, but I made TWO diving helmets. they both use the same hose, and pump, but have their own weights. here are some specs.
the MK I:
materiallastic
view ports: 4
view port material: plexiglass
glue: hot-glue, and marine silicone
additional information: an old project, started when I was 8 years old, I decided to revisit the idea. I completed it in 7th grade and succesfully tested it in august, shortly into the 2011-2012 school year. it had many pin-holes, but the pump was enough to constantly keep it filled with air.
the MK II:
material: metal
view ports: 1
view port material: plexiglass
glue: caulk, silicone, and a strange metal-binding glue that I found for boats and stuff.
additional information: completed and tested at the very end of the 2011-2012 school year. it is entirely watertight which means that the air compresses and hurts my ears.
note: I DO know about nitrogen narcosis/the bends and am very aware of the danger! however I do take measures against it! for interest, that's me and my dead girlfriend.
