We saw at least 5 reef sharks in Nassau, and about 8 or 9 in Freeport.

The dive in Freeport was the Twin Sister wreck which apparently is close to Shark Junction where they fed the shark.

The other was Heineken wall in Nassau.

Where are other places where you've seen a large number of sharks? Of course, we saw nurse sharks on almost every dive in Cozumel and Cancun.

Hey fisherdvm,

What dive op did you use in Freeport? We are going down in May, would like a small op such as the ones you find in Coz. As far as many sharks, Fiji. We saw many on one dive called the Supermarket, it was what they called their shark encounter, not a feeding, it was a blast.

Unesco, I believe. Friendly folks. It was a last minute thing, and the cab driver assured me that they can get me on a boat that catered to beginners (my newly cert nephew was with me). One of the dive instructor was from canada, the other from the US. Both very helpful, friendly, courteous. The local DM did not impress me too much, as he was beating up the reef with his fins too much.

In Nassau, we used Stuart Cove, but it was my sister's choice. I would check out comments from other divers before I booked with any of these folks. We didn't have a choice, as we had limited time off the cruise ship.
