I'm doing an intro to tec diving this summer, I have a Dive Rite Trans Plate Harness w/ a Dive Rite Steel backplate, a Dive Rite Dual Rec Wing and 2 steel 100's (Worthingtons)
I have 2 Aqualungs XL's for Regs that I've bought brand new 4 years ago. Would this be a good setup for intro to Tec Diving (TDI)

You sound all set.... I think you'll enjoy the TDI Intro to Tech class.

I took it earlier this winter, now working on the full Adv. Nitrox/Deco class.
It's good to get experience with the doubles, I think, before layering on the task loading of planning and executing more advanced dives.

You might also want to get experience diving in a dry suit, since most, but certainly not all, technical diving is much longer duration and even in temperate water getting cold is not good (one key cause of DCS).
