I will be in Orange Lake for a few days in the middle of April. I was wondering if there are any diving opportunities available in the area.

Thanks

Best thing to do may to try and call one of the local Dive Shops there. If it is the Orange Lake near Orlando then Dayo Scuba would be the people.

Can say that since you'll be pretty much close to middle of the state you can choose either Cave Country, and if you don't have a Cave Cert there are some nice springs to dive. Or you can go to either coast for a dive.

But give you an idea

Ft. Pierce is about 1 hr away from Orlando, new dive op out of there, and there is also a shore dive at Pepper State Park. Dive Op is Treasure Coast Charters. Haven't heard much feedback good or bad about them.
Jupiter, FL is about 2 hrs away and has some great diving as well as great Dive Ops. A few are Jupiter Dive Center and Capt. Slater's Charters. Capt. Slater actually will post some Dive Reports from the boat and such.
