Very Sad, from what I've read it sounds like a combo of a new diver, diving alone with a less than optimal rig, in an area with high currents, and lots of stuff to get fouled on.

Iv'e read the threads on the accident . I know first hand current and line of anytype dont mix too well. Its a mystery right now and some areas are calm with areas of current. The tip of the point judith breakwater sounds similar. Had a hell of a time out there one day and never went back.

Same type of situation. Jetty protects area to East until you venture to far out
