Diving 7, 8, 9th?

According to Intellicast... Sunday and Monday should be about the same- Sunday about 4 degrees warmer and no clouds (yeah, right). If I go- if Ken will go- it'll have to be Monday, though. I really don't want to deal with Sunday crowds (whether they are expected or not!).

I'll still have to get back to you on that, Ken. So if you make plans with someone else that's fine. I'm still deciding if I want to go through the hassle of rinsing out my gear again! What a pain!

Sunday's not good for me, but Monday is, and that forecast sounds encouraging. So, if somebody is up for either Gilboa or White Star for Monday, I'm game. (Altho White Star on Monday might not have any air available . . .)

I never knew about them before! Nice to know, thanks for finding that.

Might be a good reason to go to White Star Monday, just to check them out (after calling tomorrow between 12 and 8, first!)

I've never been there either, it was passed on to me through a mailing list and I filed it away for future reference.

The rest of the email said"I stopped in yesterday just to check it out and see if he was really in business. He is. He has equipment to rent as well as new equipment for sale. His rental prices are fairly cheap and he does air fills too. His hours are Fri, Sat, and Sun 12-8, and other days by appointment. He isn’t as well stocked as New Wave or other stores, but he does have some stuff i.e. regs, BCs, wetsuits as well as some small gadget items."

The pool looks nice.

Let me know how the place is if you stop by. I have work on Monday, so unfortunately I won't be able to make it.

Don't let her fool you, eckybay doesn't actually work at work... unless maybe there's some construction crisis up thataways!

Okay... er... do I do this? Okay, lets dive Monday. I reserve the right to cancel if something happens and my husband needs me for help with directions or something but he should be up in Massachusetts at our company's trailer shop getting the trailer serviced (it's been like 4 months without a checkup so it's going to need a lot of maintenance work)... so... okay, I'm in... did I just say that? Urgh- this diving thing is a sickness, I tell ya! But it doesn't look like it's supposed to be too nice next week after Monday or anything beyond then that they'll forecast... Monday works.

Ken- check up on that dive shop- I'll rent 2 or 3 tanks depending on what their fills are like. Is White Star worth the extra driving and the off-site tank fills? I'm a Gilboa girl at heart (okay, so I haven't even been to Portage or White Star!).

Doesn't matter to me- I PMed Barracuda 2 since he didn't chime in anywhere and I know he prefers weekday diving and he's back from Palau.
