Dives near LA on Wed, 3/2

Hello all,

I think I'll be in LA for work next Thursday and Friday, so I'm wondering if I should try to get out a day early and get a couple of dives in. What are my options for a dive on Wednesday? I'm a recreational diver traveling alone, so I'd need to find a buddy or a boat which puts a DM in the water w/ the divers, and I'll need to rent weights and tanks. Any suggestions?

hey, Colin...the only mid-week boat, that I know about, going out this time of year is the Sundiver Express...great outfit with a fast boat...check out:

Tanks and wieghts included, but no charter in So.Cal. "puts in a DM" with you. Usually no problem diving with locals on the trip but you can alway hire a DM guide....call them and ask.
You diving dry? or at least 7mm with hood, gloves, & boots? Wish I could join you, but those four letter words are getting in the way (like: work, kids, wife, and a cold). Enjoy!
