Had the first opportunity in years to dive again with Divers Down yesterday.
Surf entry to swim out to the boat was a bit challenging but plenty of assistance on hand to help with camera gear and haul up downed divers, didn't help much in my plan to keep my ears dry though.
Due to the rough weather it was not possible to make a two tank trip as the boat would have had too much gear on board, so we had to endure two bumpy rides to the dive sites, weather unfortunately cannot be controlled.
Even at Dibba Rock at 12M one could feel the surge above, which made this 2:1 macro shot of a scorpionfish rather challenging.
Hospitality with DD is excellent though, Karin was always on hand to assist and Paul actually was in the water too helping assist people in and out to the dive boats. Would love to have stayed on and relax afterwards but with a 2 hour drive back to Dubai and a desire to get home in daylight kicked that idea out unfortunately.
Will be back when the sea is calmer hopefully in a week or two (new moon), and hopefully have a chance to dive with a fellow Land Rover owner
