It's on the R&R channel BTW, which becomes the water channel from about 5:00pm - 11pm MST.

They do have an odd way of doing things. They seem to have good photographers, however they pick the strangest things to start their shot sequences. They may start with a tank valve, and zoom out to a shot of the back of the boat. Or they may have a close-up of someone attaching their first stage to the tank.... What is up with THAT!! If I was in ANY of the locations they shoot, I could certainly find some more interested footage.

All in all the information presented is good (but dry) and the underwater footage is well done. They just need to spice this show up. A well spoken hot babe, maybe some BeefCake for the ladies, and a bit of wit and humor in the narriation would go a LONG way to improve the show.

agree it could be better somehow - I want to like it, but I usually get bored and fast forward through much of it. I stopped watching them on NESN anyway since there never seemed to be any new ones. Plus no description shows up on Tivo and I got sick of recording them just so I could check it to see if it was new.

wish they played better music...he's the underwater MR Rogers...but if you miss seeing what's underwater, switch it on...I think I've already seen all the episodes

Now that I've seen them all, or at least it seems so, I quit recording them. If nothing else is on I'll watch it. The cold water dives are more interesting it seems. They have less to show top side, so they show more underwater.

Another good show that takes place almost completely underwater is Offshore Hunters. They're just free diving and spear fishing, but that's pretty much all they show. They have a diver with a camera, and they record everything. I don't think it's back on yet though. It was on the Sunshine network here in Florida at some wierd time. It had to be Tivo'd to be caught really. http://offshorehunters.com/

They've only got one season under their weight belt, but the shows got better as that season ended. There's a video on the site for the 2006 season. Looks like they've added a female for the next season, sure to get them some better ratings ;)

Agree, and the program comes across as a bland promotion for whatever site they are diving. Still, it's a nice mindless pictoral of diving.

Yuh I guess we really can't complain.......I don't know of any other diving programs on TV?
