We've (wife and I) got our adventure and fill passes for the season already. I'm pleased to say there are some really nice, new additions including night charters, and regular "trifecta" days. They want to keep diving alive in Toby, and get more divers in the water. We have booked a bunch of stuff already and I'm very optimistic this will be a great dive season in Tobermory.

Tobermory sure does look like a nice place.

Apart from wrecks, what can you see below surface im lake Hudson?
besides the wrecks, which are the primary draw, there are geological dives, and you do see some fish. There's a grotto (like a baby cave dive) and some walls. The Niagara II is like a jungle gym for divers... We love it there, and spend 6ish weekends a season up there.

Had they gotten their heads out of their asses, the Norisle would have been another "gem" if you were into man-made (intentionally sunk) dive sites.... Similar to the Niagara II,

I think you're aware that this plan was well in hand. A site had been chosen, all the required approvals were in place and we were just waiting for the word from the municipality on Manitoulin to come and get her.

And then for some reason, they elected to spend $750,000 to have it towed to the scrapper. I can't explain it and I'm not suggesting that some improper financial shenanigans may have occurred, but I'm at a complete loss as to why a municipal government would chose to spend that kind of money unnecessarily AND destroy an amazing piece of our maritime heritage.
