I can't imagine a whale not sieving out the water. The amount of work required for the kidneys to eliminate all that salt would be insane. I also wouldn't worry to much about them choking on a diver. the whales undoubtedly know exactly what the divers are made of.... the chewy insides have a real annoying wrapper that probably would not taste very good (or come off easily unless those whales had opposable thumbs). The whales probably thought it was pretty big goof (joke).

This has gone viral. It was on a CNN show last evening. Really enjoyed seeing it on the large fast screen. Now I'd like to see it in slow-mo at the 3D theatre. Incredible.

We had a mother with a nursing baby surface almost underneath our boat one day while returning to the area where the boats dock on Kona,Hawaii.
That was also the day where we heard whales sing and I snorkeled with and Oceanic Whitetip. It was probably one of the best days I've ever had diving. And,the best parts weren't even diving, except hearing the singing.

It's been on the news for several days now. I'm waiting for offers to sale HD prints of the climax show.
