DiveRite shoulder dump conversion. HOW TO?

I have bought the elbow to change my diverrite wing from a shoulder dump to an elbow and I am just wondering how to do it. I got the pull cable out of rht hose and all the attachments on but can not figure out how to get the adapter that screws into the original shoulder dump out of it to put on the the elbow. The one that screws into the piece inside the wing I mean. Any help would be necesssary!

not sure I understand exactly what you mean, but the part of the "assembly" my be reverse threaded. If you are trying to unscrew counter clockwise, try going clockwise.

when I swapped the dump for an elbow on my DR Venture wing I simply unscrewed the "collar" carefully - DO NOT turn the dump assembly as it actually locks into the lower (inner) assembly - but the collar came off fairly easily.
