Does anyone have any information on the new DiveRite fins that are similar to the old Apollo whip fins. Was considering Jets or Quattros but LDS suggested the DiveRite.

What info are you looking for?

I have some and I like them.

a little more than I have some and I like them.

What do you like about them? What are their shortcomings? How do they compare to the quattros and Jets?

I was told that the swivel of the strap prevents foot cramping and that the whip action makes finning quite effortless.

Well I haven't used Quattros in years and I've never used jets. That's because scubapro makes them and I won't touch anything from scubapro but that's another story. I have used the IDI jet copies and I normally dive with turtles with my dry suit. The jet copies are too heavy when I'm in a wet suit and the foot pocket is very unconfortable. The diverite fin fits my foot and it's lighter which, in my case, is good.

The diverite fin is a fairly stiff paddle fin so it works really well for frog kicking foreward or in reverse which is also what I need.

They work well with a flutter also although other than a modified flutter when in a tight spot I don't use a flutter much.

I like them. Oh...mine have spring straps on them and that's all I've tried.
